Why you aren’t getting the results you want in business: and what you need to focus on instead

Many times, we look at results from a surface-level standpoint.

Our business or career results.
Income.
Team.
Relationships.
Personal goals.

And we can’t figure out why nothing is working. We’re doing all the “right” things, following all the “steps,” trying our hardest – and we still don’t have the results we’d hoped for.

But: it’s important to acknowledge that as a whole, we are under more stress than we realize – and have been for some time now.

Across the board, I see a lot of individuals working on scaling their companies, moving up in their career, growing their income and trying to achieve a higher level of success.

The problem is, they’re trying to layer peak performance on top of a state that in no way, shape or form sets them up for the outcomes they desire.

And the foundation for everything we do in life – business, career, relationships, etc., is a positive physical and emotional state of being. Our physical and emotional health impacts EVERYTHING that we do, whether we realize it or not.

And, getting to a healthy physical and emotional state takes work. Especially after experiencing significant trauma over the past few years.

While I’m no doctor or therapist, I do have your best interest at heart: which is why I want this to be a wake up call for all of you who are reading.

A wake up call to start setting aside time – even if it’s just an hour each week – to focus on true healing from the inside out.

Releasing.
Healing.
Cleansing your mind, heart and soul.

So that you have a strong foundation to build upon that can withstand the weight of what you are building.

Even just taking the first step to acknowledge and identify that healing your emotional state is the foundation for everything else that you’re creating.

There are a handful of ways you can go about seeking support in your own healing process, but remember that asking for help is an immense sign of strength and absolutely critical to the process.

So today, I encourage you to reflect inward and ask yourself:

What are some of the feelings you’re holding on to right now and why?
What have you done to process the experiences you’ve gone through over the last few years?
Have you truly taken space to dedicate to self-love and healing?
How can you release those feelings?

Hit pause. Take inventory. Acknowledge it. Ask for help. And then, take action.

You are strong, resilient, and poised for success. You’ve got this!
